I, Esi am a non-binary multimedia artist from North Iceland. I make audial and optical noises, along with interactive experiences. I used to run Kollafoss.farm and host the annual Isolation Jam. Former web designer with love for old fashioned handcrafted websites. Been making games since the age of 12, and proudly display the work here.
The Site
This website of mine has served as somewhat of a resumé or a CV of mine throughout the years which has collided with the idea of a digital garden. It’s like I’ve been taking care of grass on a suburbian lawn trying to be presentable to the world, but what I truly wanted was to grow and take care of a wild garden. I could sit down and redesign the website from scratch but I am more interested in incremental changes so I will be slowly ripping up the perfect grass and rewilding this garden of mine over time. I hope you’ll enjoy the journey as much as I do.
I don’t know where this will lead, but I am looking forward to seeing how this garden of mine will evolve.
